At the same time, coastal areas such as Semarang face real environmental challenges, including tidal flooding, land subsidence, waste issues, and the need for more adaptive infrastructure. These conditions require solutions that combine engineering, sustainability, and practical implementation.

Mech-ONE is created as a response to that challenge. Through mechanical design, sustainable business planning, and national discussion, this event encourages students to transform coastal and energy problems into future-oriented solutions.
